IVIPRO DAYS. Video Games. Territories. Culture.
IVIPRO DAYS is our annual international event dedicated to exploring the role and potential of video games as a resource for narrating real places and cultural heritage. The first seminar, “Video Games, Territory and Heritage”, was held in Bologna on November 23, 2018. The following year, on September 14–15 2019, IVIPRO DAYS welcomed Italian and international guests to the beautiful Castello Estense in Ferrara. Due to the Covid-19 emergency, the 2020 and 2021 editions were held online. In 2022, 2023 and 2024, IVIPRO DAYS returned to an in-person format in the city of Trieste.
Since the very first edition, the IVIPRO DAYS have hosted both Italian and international speakers. The goal is to share case studies and concrete experiences, fostering dialogue among industry professionals, cultural and local institutions, associations, students and enthusiasts. Admission to IVIPRO DAYS is always free.
