The IVIPRO DAYS are back again this year, an international event that explores the connection between video games, culture, and territory. And that’s not all: there are more exciting updates!
The 2025 edition will take place from Thursday, October 30th to Saturday, November 1st, during the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, Italy’s most important festival dedicated to science fiction. The 2025 edition will be even richer than before, expanding from two to three days of in-person events, including new business-oriented networking opportunities featuring both Italian and international guests.
However, the season of video game-related events promoted by the IVIPRO Association will kick off earlier, in September, with IVIPRO DAY/Off: the first in a series of satellite events scattered across Italy, dedicated to the role of video games within the audiovisual ecosystem.
The first stop will be in Prato, on September 19th. An afternoon — organized by IVIPRO in collaboration with Toscana Film Commission and Manifatture Digitali Cinema —will focus on opportunities for both game devs and heritage professionals. The event will include professional development sessions and case studies, offering industry professionals, cultural institutions, students and enthusiasts a chance to delve into this world and understand its dynamics.
The lead-up to IVIPRO DAYS will continue throughout October with online previews.
