The Italian Videogame Program Award was established with the aim of promoting research and study on video games carried out within Italian universities and fine arts academies. After three editions featuring students from all over Italy, the call for applications for the 2025 edition is now online.
The Award, promoted by the IVIPRO Association, is organized in collaboration with the Chair of Semiotics of New Media and the Chair of Innovative Teaching Methods for Schools and Informal Education at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. It is sponsored by the Department of the Arts (DAR) and the Department of Education Studies “Giovanni Maria Bertin” at the same university, as well as by IIDEA (Italian Interactive Digital Entertainment Association), and supported by Effenove srls.
